JEM Holdings is a real estate investment company focused on the acquisition of value-add properties.


Mikael Levey founded JEM in July 2013. In this capacity, Mikael oversees all aspects of acquisition/disposition, due diligence, financing, and asset management.

Prior to JEM, Mikael was involved with over $2B of purchase, sale and refinancing’s while at Silverstein Properties, Urban America, and Cushman and Wakefield. Mikael was most recently an Asset Manager at Silverstein Properties where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of several million square feet of Manhattan office investments. Prior to working at Silverstein Properties, Mikael was an Acquisitions Associate at Urban America, where he was responsible for sourcing and underwriting potential investments. Mikael began his career in commercial real estate brokerage at CB Richard Ellis and Cushman and Wakefield.

Mikael earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University with a concentration in Finance. He also has a Master of Real Estate from Columbia University.


Jessica joined JEM in January 2015. Her primary role is to evaluate new investment opportunities, oversee transactions, manage the existing portfolio, and interact with investors.

Prior to joining JEM, Jessica served as an Asset Manager at Silverstein Properties, overseeing a 3 million square foot portfolio of office in Manhattan including Four World Trade Center. At Silverstein, Jessica focused on asset management initiatives, managing investor relationships, building complex financial models, and negotiating with lenders. She also led due diligence and supported transaction execution totaling over $800M. Prior to Silverstein, Jessica worked in Asset Management for Brookfield’s Real Estate Opportunity Fund, a private equity fund investing in underperforming properties with the objective of creating value through active management, capital expenditure, and financing activities. There, she was responsible for all analysis and transactional support for a portfolio comprising 1.7 million square feet of office and 7,000 apartment units. Jessica began her real estate career in commercial mortgage origination at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University with a minor in Real Estate and her Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
